Antique photo album with scenes from Central Java in the 1910s, focusing on the Grebeg ceremony at Keraton of Surakarta, the interior of Keraton, pre-renovation of the Borobudur Temple, a Hindu temple, a church, Dutch soldiers and local citizens building a road to go through a jungle. 

The entire collection of the photographs consists of 41 original antique photographs, all taken around the same year and gathered in a fine album which gives a unique look into Java in the early 1900's.
