A hand-coloured version of the famous Claudius Ptolemy map of Taprobana, otherwise known as Ceylon or Sri Lanka but often confused for Sumatra by mapmakers.

This hand-coloured Magini edition also includes Italian text on the bottom though the map is kept as per usual with the Latin cartouche and an engraving of an elephant.
